Meeting of the Head of the Doctoral School with the PhD Students Council of the SGGW

On January 12, 2021, the first meeting of the Head of the Doctoral School of SGGW, dr hab. Justyna Franc-Dąbrowska, prof. SGGW with the newly appointed PhD Students Council of the SGGW. During the meeting, current issues of PhD students and the cooperation plan were discussed.

SGGW-WULS for animals!

Seminar with Josu Takala

We'd like to inform that on December 17, 2020, from 9.00-13.00 at the Doctoral School of WULS-SGGW there will be additional in the Academic Writing in English course.

Classes will take the form of a seminar and will be conducted by prof. Josu Takala from the School of Technology and Innovations, University of Vaasa, Finland.

Professor in the Industrial Management Department at School of Technology and Innovations of University of Vaasa. Educational background: Tampere University of Technology M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (1980) and Dr. Tech. (Electrical Engineering and Business Studies at University of Vaasa) in 1988 as well as Dr. HC in 2009 from the Technical University of Košice in Slovakia and Dr. HC (Technology Management and Business) in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn in Malaysia (2015). His field of interest is mainly technology management in the sustainable competitive strategies of private and public organizations in manufacturing networks by utilizing the generic fields of quality management, technology and operations strategy, new product and service development and environmental management. He has published over 600 scientific articles. Furthermore, he is a Co-Editor, Special Issue Editor or Member of Scientific Board in Journals (like MPER, MNG), and invited or keynote speaker and Chairman or Honored Chairman in many international conferences. Owner in some university startup businesses.

Change in the functioning of the Doctoral School Office of the WULS

Dear PhD Students,
We would like to kindly inform you that from October 28 to November 6, 2020, employees of the Doctoral School Office of the WULS will operate on the basis of remote work. In all matters, it will be possible to contact us both by phone and e-mail.

Restriction of teaching at the university's premises from October 19, due to COVID-19

In connection with the government's decision to introduce further measures to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the division of the country into red and yellow areas, on October 19, 2020, a restriction on education in studies, postgraduate studies and other forms is introduced, as well as limiting doctoral student education provided by universities and other entities providing education for doctoral students at their offices or branches. The latest issue of the Student Magazine published an article about the SGGW Doctoral School under the slogan "Doctorate with a future - at the university with a 200 years of history!"

Legalisation is the certification of a document’s formal conformity with the law binding in the place of its issue or of the authenticity of the seals and signatures placed on the document.
