The 200th year of educating has started
The academic year 2015/16 has been inaugurated at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. This year the university will celebrate the 200th anniversary of agricultural education in Poland. Next May it will have been 200 years since the establishment of the Institute of Agronomy in Marymont, from which the Warsaw University of Life Sciences is derived. In the new academic year, 25,000 students will begin their studies, among them nearly 8 thousand freshmen.
O-Day 2015
On 28th of September 2015 at Warsaw University of Life Science – SGGW took place an organizational event „Orientation Day” for international students starting their studies in the academic year 2015/16.

EUA calls on the European Parliament
As the EU Council presents its position on the 2016 budget to the European Parliament today, the European University Association (EUA) welcomes the widespread support in the Parliament for the Horizon 2020 programme from a series of committees, including the leading Committee on Budgets as well as the Committees on Industry, Research and Energy and Economic and Monetary Affairs.

30 marca br. odbyło się spotkanie Rektora SGGW prof. dr hab. Alojzego Szymańskiego z Rektorem Politechniki Częstochowskiej prof. dr hab. Marią Nowicką-Skowron, podczas którego omawiano możliwości współpracy pomiędzy Uczelniami. W spotkaniu uczestniczyli również prorektor ds. dydaktyki prof. dr hab. Bogdan Klepacki oraz sekretarz rektora mgr Anna Żuchowska.
