On 1st of October 2013 at Warsaw University of Life Science – SGGW took place an organizational event „Orientation Day” for international students starting their studies in the academic year 2013/2014.

Employee of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW wins the “Brokers of Innovation” competition
Marek Grześkiewicz, PhD, employee of the Department of Technology, Organization and Management in Wood Industry, was selected as one of the winners of the nationwide “Brokers of Innovation” competition held by the Ministry of Science and HigherEducation.
On June 4th, 2013, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS-SGGW) hosted the delegation from the Netherlands.
The seminar “How to Write a World Class Paper” took place on June 20th . It was organized by International Research Projects Office and Elsevier Publishing Company, and held in the Water Centre.

On 12-14 June the representatives of the International Research Projects Office (2 persons) and the International Relations Office (4 persons) took part in the annual conference of the network for international relations officers from HEI-s offering education in life sciences – IROICA (under the title: IROs – the solid compass helping universities navigate the new EU financial perspective).

More than 70 police officers received nominations and awards on the occasion of Police. The ceremony of awarding promotions District Police officers Warsaw II was held on 9th July. in the Crystal Hall of the Warsaw Agricultural University in Warsaw.
On Friday (May 17th), during the days of WULS-SGGW, professor dr hab. Jan Gawęcki from the Faculty of Food Sciences and Nutrition of Poznan University of Life Sciences received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa. Professor Gawęcki is a specialist in human nutrition studies.
