The European Commission needs independent experts for Horizon 2020, the new EU research and innovation programme. The objective is to ensure that EU grants are awarded only to the best research and innovation proposals, based on a rigorous peer-review process
For the last five years students have met at the conferences within the EUROleague network, during which the representatives of seven partner universities and four world partners (since 2013 Lincoln University from New Zealand, China Agricultural University in Beijing, Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Cornell University in the USA) can present their academic projects (as oral presentations or posters).

Marek Grześkiewicz, PhD, employee of the Department of Technology, Organization and Management in Wood Industry, was selected as one of the winners of the nationwide “Brokers of Innovation” competition held by the Ministry of Science and HigherEducation.
