Warsaw University of Life Sciences was qualified to the top one hundred international universities in the field of agriculture and forestry. QS World University Rankings of the TopUniversities.com service is the fifth edition of the ranking, which in addition to analyzing about 17.3 million of research works, gathered the views of more than 85,000 scientists and 41 thousand employers. The specification takes into account as many as 36 different scientific disciplines and as emphasized by its creators, is the largest list of this kind in the world.
There are three new programmes that have been prepared by the WULS-SGGW for its prospective students: Engineering of biotechnical systems, Plant health protection and Water engineering and management.
Warsaw University of Life Sciences launched the Open University, which is a form of lifelong learning for all people interested in deepening their knowledge and skills. The students can choose from among 50 various courses.
A delegation from WULS-SGGW paid a visit to Azerbaijan and Georgia on 23-26 April. The delegation included the Rector of WULS-SGGW, Professor dr hab. The delegation visited two universities: the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University ASAU in Ganji (Azerbaijan) and Tbilisi Teaching University TTU (Georgia).

The Warsaw University of Life Sciences has received for the sixth time the title of the "Most innovative and creative university in generating job prospects" and the certificate "Good University, Good Job". In the competition organized by the Academic Information Centre from Poznan, universities were assessed for projects that are conducted and for activities increasing the chances of the graduates at the difficult job market.
