Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW (WULS – SGGW) is the oldest agricultural academic school in Poland, its history dates back to 1816. At present, the university consists of 13 faculties and 5 interfaculty units; there are 25,000 students enrolled. They can choose from 23 disciplines and 61 specialties. The research and education covers the entire field of agriculture related sciences, among the others: Landscape Architecture, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Finance and Banking, Regional Planning, Informatics and Econometrics, Environmental Engineering, Forestry, Environment Protection, Horticulture, Agriculture, Sociology, Agricultural and Forestry Techniques, Wood Technology, Commodity Sciences, Tourism and Recreation, Food Technology, Human Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Management and Production Engineering, Management and Marketing, Animal Science. Within the Socrates/Erasmus programme SGGW offers a wide range of subjects taught in English.

The new campus of Warsaw University of Life Sciences is located in Ursynów. The Palace of Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz the offices of the University authorities are situated. The campus is made up of different faculty buildings, student dormitories, facilities such as Sport Center, SGGW Hotel, the Main Library as well as the building with the conference hall, better known as the Crystal Auditorium, where most celebrated academic events take place.

Warsaw University of Life Sciences has over 190 years of tradition. You can graduate with engineer, bachelor or master degree. We also offer postgraduate and doctoral studies. The University is prestigious and renowned in Poland as well as abroad thanks to its qualified staff. Therefore, foreign higher education institutions participate in various student exchange programs with our university. Students of Warsaw University of Life Sciences can use modern lecture halls, laboratories, computer rooms and sport facilities.
